Wickett

by HOLLY ARMER   Oct 21, 2004

If you look really close, there in the dark.
You just might see him, a flickering spark.
From his freckly face to his black leather wings.
Spiky, red hair and the mischief he brings.

Obnoxious and loud, clothed all in green.
Flitting about, just hoping to be seen.
Life on the edge, just doing his part.
Laughing aloud, a prankster at heart.

From hiding your keys to untying a shoe.
These are a couple of tricks that he'll do.
There's no need to wonder about who's to blame.
It's a reckless, young fairy and Wickett's his name.

*2nd poem in my fairy tale series...enjoy*
