Shamefull waste

by PAUL HEWSON   Nov 3, 2004

Deformed reality , twisted and broken
desperate words so gently spoken
raising anger extinguished by fear
life's not a hobby . its a f in career
Ive shamefully wasted the love that u gave
a memory i,ll take to my solitary grave

stretched dimensions,refracted and torn
I've never felt rite from the day i was born
rising fever extinguished by hope
life's not a hobby .its a big f in joke
I've shamefully wasted the love that u gave
a memory I'll take to my solitary grave

demoralized victim ,all bitter and twisted
all my faults, i guess we both had them listed
rising resentment never stopped but we'd try
life not a hobby , it a big f in lie
I've shamefully wasted the love that u gave
a memory I'll take to my solitary grave

Wow, that's a harsh reality to face. You write so boldly and truly tell it how it is...making you an awesome poet~Holly

Good, deep poem. Is ti supposed to be a song? For some reason, I thought that (Don't ask why). Anyway, keep writing!
