Eternal Sleep

You filled my life with grief and all of the antagonizing pain,
So I grab the knife and start to cut into my vein.
I can feel all of my frustration leave,
As I cut deeper and deeper each slice,
You will see I am serious,
And this in not make believe.

My emotions are so run dry,
And I can feel my heart rate begin to drop,
But once I start cutting myself,
The temptation is so great and it is so hard to stop.

I am beginning to feel lifeless
As my body is turning weak,
I try to scream out words for help,
But it is getting more difficult to speak.

My skin is turning pale,
And my body beginning to turn cold,
As I lye on the floor beginning to shiver,
The blood flowing out of my wrist
Like an eternal raging river.

I close my eyes to have my eternal sleep,
The memories of everyone I love,
Will always be in my heart,
Where they shall always keep.
