I know you know that love i have for you
it fills each time i see you, each time i am near you
that love that is secret but kept from sight
the one that you can see and is a blissful delight

i know you know that i love you but you turn your back
i love you in secret even despite that fact
i wish i could express to you what my heart says
but i can't fathom the words to begin to explain

i know you know cause i watch your eyes
they are the one part that never tells lies
i know you love me too ever since grade eight
i had my chance but at that time i was filled with hate

i didn't know that you were serious such a long time
i thought an angel like her wouldn't give me the time
