Silent Tears

by HOLLYWOODxBANGBANG   Dec 26, 2004

Talking to you on a normal Saturday night,
when you started to talk about something so unreal,
you said it to me and in my heart i felt fright,
and with your pain and sadness i had to deal.

You said what you said and my face went pale,
i thought about my life without you and i never thought i would,
your friendship to wards people is one thing that you were about to fail,
we see you everyday with your little cheer smile and we automatically assume that your life is all good.

You told me that you had a bottle of whiskey and tylenol three,
you had taken ten and the limit was thirteen,
now all you needed to do was guzzle down the whiskey,
and than a vision came to me; your death i had for seen.

Your mom finds you dead laying on the ground,
she looks down upon your lifeless body,
she put her ear against your chest and listened for a heartbeat but she heard not a sound,
as she looked around her and realized she had nobody.

Without you she has was nothing,
you were her pride and joy,
although she did have something,
she had a little boy.

Your little brother who had loved you so dearly,
was now robbed of his sister forever,
he thought he had known you so clearly,
but this he never would have guessed; not now not ever.

Your mom sat him down on the bed,
and told him the news as a silent tear ran down his cheek,
he had never thought that he would have to see his sister dead,
for revenge on whoever made her do this to herself he did seek.

We went to your funeral wearing all black,
stood and listened to the priest until he lowered you into the ground,
it suddenly dawned upon us that we would never see our little Nicole again; we would never have her back,
we wiped tears away from our eyes as we covered you with a dirt mound.

We all parted and went on our way,
we went back to our houses and tried to move on,
but it was merely impossible to do our usual day to day,
our little Nicole was forever gone.

Had she even thought about the peoples lives she was about to ruin when she decided to take her own?
What about all her friends who would forever blame themselves?
if only sooner she could have let her true feelings be shown,
than people could have tried to save her before the ordeal.

She looked down upon her friends from up above,
watched their day to day lives,
down to them she sent her love,
she didn't even get to tell them her good-byes.

She watched as Tyler wallowed in despair,
as he stuck the razor blade in his wrist and pulled back; making the first line,
she trembled with regret and started to pull and tug at her hair,
she felt a shiver go up her spine.

She watched in putrid as she saw Jenna put the knife to her wrist,
she pushed the knife in as hard as it would go,
Nicole hadn't realized she would be so missed,
but now it was too late to let her know.

She watched as the blood dripped out from her veins,
a phone beside her; off the hook,
as she took a trip down memory lane,
their memories together were like you read in a book.

She watched as her life dripped out in front of her eyes,
she had no idea her mistake would lead to this,
her tears mixed with blood as they fell and she started to rise,
and to imagine her life could just drain out from her wrist.

She watched as Jenna stopped moving; her body went limp,
she looked down and tried to figure out what had caused her death to come so seeked,
she had come to join her and they hugged with a silent tear running down each of their cheeks.
