Forever Memories

by Bobby Brownlie   Dec 31, 2004

I sit in my room alone crying thinking of the memories we shared,
Since you left me I’m so depressed,
the urges to kill myself are so overpowering,
I am starting to get scared.

I am a bundle of nerves ready to blow,
You leaving me screwed me up so bad,
I think about slitting my wrists every night,
And to just let the blood flow.

My eyes everyday pouring tears down my face,
I just miss you so much,
Nobody could take your place.

You had the most special place in my heart,
And when I found out you were leaving me,
You tore me apart.

I want to know if it was something I did,
Or if it was something that I said,
Because the memories of you and I,
And what you did,
Will be forever memories in my head.

Hey. Haven't been on in awhile... My inspiration to write poetry seems to have gone away for a vacation and is slowly coming back. I hope everything's going OK for you. Can't say too much about my life as far as OK goes, but you know how that is. This is a really moving poem. It was beautiful, in a sad way. I want you to know I've been thinkin' about you and hope to hear from you soon! Good luck.
    Love Always,
