They've taught me well

My mother has taught me many things,
To be kind to all others, see the joy that it brings,

My father has taught me many things,
To watch the beauty in life, see it blossom and bloom,
Do away with all the hatred, and all the gloom,

My mother has taught me many things,
To be cheerful, soft- hearted, and sing lots of songs,
She makes sure I have pride and that I learn from my wrongs,

My father has taught me many things,
To see problems and issues from every side,
Decide things fairly, not to be blinded by lies, and hide,

My mother and father have both taught me well,
Time will show if I’ve learned, my actions will tell

    This is a very beautiful poem. I'm glad you see the great things your Mom and Dad has taught you. I'm glad they are setting good examples for you in life. You appreciate them for that, so many don't. A beautiful poem, once again. lol
