Just when I thought I got rid of the pain...
Hello Heartache, we meet again.

Reach out your hand, and take it to my heart,
feel the sorrow, for it's not gracious,
the heartbeat, once so beautiful,
is shattered by words so mendacious.

Look deep into my dark brown eyes,
don't leave, just look a while,
if you see past my disguise,
you'll see beyond this shallow smile.

Splendour and mirth have faded from me,
there's only echoes of a heartless cry,
tears stream down my unhappy face,
no one has fallen as hard as I.

My silent pain will always be hidden,
I will not make a sigh, not shout,
it's my pain, don't tell me not to feel it,
for I shall bleed my tears right out.

Depression has dug its way into my chest,
and torn out what once was whole,
it has asphyxiated all that was beautiful,
every part of my barren soul.

It feels as if someone has taken a knife
and stabbed it right into my chest,
therefore I bleed pretty crimson,
for that is where my pain rests.

It's scary how everything that I once had
has slowly fallen apart,
and it is too late to mend the pieces
of my merciless heart.

I shall cut myself with the sharpest blade,
for I am sick of living like this,
in this world where people have a twisted look,
on what beauty really is.

It hurts me to have to do this to myself,
it hurts me to have to survive,
but the worst thing is waking up every morning,
knowing that I'm still alive...
