This year approaches once again,
falling faith of dying spirit...
Reminders of the lost and rejection,
no matter how much you try, can’t forget.

Couples held hand with hand,
kisses and hugs slowly pass you by...
Smiles touching hearts
with your head down, you cry.

Don’t let them see you,
you repeat to yourself,
holding on to receive nothing
can’t even love myself.

Hopes have faded
and love is scarce ,
no one there to catch your fall,
the pain is harsh.

Staring at an undiscovered love
wishing you would be mine
but wishes are unaccomplished,
it’s another year as lonely valentine.
