The real you

by »«¤ß詤»«   Jan 30, 2005

Isn't it weird
how we let fear control our lives
fear of people knowing the real us
insecurities covered by lies and more lies
we go to such lengths
just to hide the real you
so afraid of what others think
but to yourself you must be true
in reality your fine
don't change a thing
be proud of who you are
and self confidence it will bring
never let anyone put you down
or say your not good enough
there the one with the problem
cuz baby you got great stuff
live your life
the way you want it to be
don't let people change you
and self esteem you will see
always remember to be yourself
the real you
be proud
happy to be you
and something tells me
that life will be easy to get through
