Cross Pendant

Everytime I feel the building tears
derive from my eyes
recalling painful flashbacks,
I won't let them slip by.

Proceeding recreancy
Tainting my observation...
trying to escape it
to turn the station.

I hold my cross pendant
in my abashed hands,
not turning toward anyone
for God will only understand.

With the touch of the cross,
my pain slowly disappears
for a short moment in time
as Jesus appears.

He thefts my vitiate
and embraces me with His affection,
Holds my abandoned heart
releasing my every tension.

My cross pendant
in the name of Lord, Jesus Christ
helps me get through my pain
of every broken tryst.
