Regret

by Lance Hardy   Feb 21, 2005

Once upon a time
There was a single moment
That passed so fast
It became almost ancient

It happened in youth
It happened when you aged
The worst part of it was
It couldn't be changed

You lost her forever
The girl of your dreams
She could've been yours
But you were torn at the seams

I should've done this
I should've done that
I could've said "hi"
We could've had a chat

Now it's all gone
The life that could've been
You're dying at 35
Can't repent your last sin

The last place you can go
Is up and above
You took life for granted
And didn't think about love

Don't do anything
That you could possibly regret
Life could be over
Before your next sunset

i like it. It's good, in every aspect. But remember, those who dwells in the past often gets lost in it :-)
