Mistake of Night

by Heather M Craig   Feb 24, 2005

The near fog
that blurs my vision.
Collapse of future
with my tension.

Spirit of their soul
relives in conscience.
Repetive damage
suffers existance.

The bitter heart
and salty tears;
wreckage of me,
absence fading clear.

The power to haunt,
clear state of mind.
The mistake of the night
created secret bind.

if you don't understand it, it's about a woman who killed a girl in a wreck at night (hit and run) and it haunts her conscience.
