COLD

by Heather M Craig   Feb 25, 2005

The ice of your veins
run as deep as the sea;
the black of your eyes,
the night of the free.

The chains of your soul
locked with a forgotten key;
The bars of your heart
turn away from the flee.

The mutilated flesh
to pierce your soul.
Destroyer of the past
left you feeling cold.

-explains the pain of one of which have had their heartbroken so many times or too deeply perhaps.-
