Black Rainbow

Once I could see all colors
All brightly shining in my eyes
With every shade of a rainbow
They together beautifully weave and tie

Then the times began to change
The sun became covered by shadow
The colors turned much darker
In my new black rainbow

But the other people around cheered
For them, their rainbow is bright
But when I look at that rainbow
All I see is night

I begin to wonder
Why is it only me
Why am I the only one
That the colors i cannot see

How do they see it
It's covered by a cloud
How can it be possible
That they see through the shroud

Maybe it's not the cloud
I realize and I cry
It's not that it is blocked
It's that the colors I can never see through my eye
