Troubled girl

by HOLLYWOODxBANGBANG   Mar 9, 2005

Troubled girl drank away her pain,
everything was driving her insane,
she had lost everything and wanted it back,
happiness is something that she started to lack.

Troubled girl smoked weed to numb the intensity of her life,
everything that she did created a bigger strife,
she picked up the zig-zag's and rolled another joint,
to her life there was no point.

Troubled girl turned to the knife,
wanted to finally do something that would be right,
she did not succeed and was left with a scar,
it did not get her very far.

Troubled girl lost her innocence at the age of twelve,
she was no longer happy, so down on herself,
it was a one night stand, did not last very long,
once again, she did what was wrong.

Troubled girl finds the man of her dreams,
but deep down inside, he was not what everyone was led to believe,
he used her for sex and nothing more,
he left her laying there crying on the floor.

Troubled girl winds up pregnant at the age of fourteen,
forced to get an abortion, her baby dies unseen,
she cries and she cries but no one knows,
this way of life she had not chose.

Troubled girl, her parents had history,
mom was a stripper and dad was dealing drugs on the street,
she could not stand this life any longer,
she needed something to make her stronger.

Troubled girl gave up on her school work,
no matter what she did, she was always left hurt,
used to be on the honor roll, straight a student,
preppy goody-goody turned prudent.

Troubled girl cries herself to sleep,
all of the secrets, she wants to keep,
no one is around to dry away her tears,
so she is left with her blade to chase away her sorrows and her fears.

Troubled girl almost died today,
she could not have it any other way,
i am glad that she is still alive, that her life did not end,
for this troubled girl is one of my best friends.
