Followers of Sacrifice

by Heather M Craig   Mar 14, 2005

Ask me to gain religion
in the sacrifice of myself,
I am the leader of belief
not the follower of else.

I need not a religion to be holy
nor shall I be frowned upon in Father's eyes,
I am but His growing child,
In Jesus Christ, I, for one, cannot deny.

Hold a given creed to your name,
restrict your soul to one graven conceit.
Certify your being unto the others
and live a long life based upon deceit.

I wonder why we sacrifice with faith
following the world's ever deed,
many of us never understand completly
God is our only need.

Heather M Craig.

--Please do not be offended, I just absolutely despise having a religion for myself, I believe in God and I have a very extended way of believing in afterlife and whatever else but what can you expect, I'm very different than most --
