The Depression Deep In Side

by Danielle   Mar 18, 2005

Sunny nights and dark day,
Cloud filled skies and luminescent ways.
Country bound as a city slicker,
Booze that heals and kills quicker.
Eyes that shine with glaze that covers,
Hair that smells with haze that hovers.
A filled out body with fragile bones,
A beautiful face with scars not shown
Laughter filled with sarcasm and fear,
Cries over flowing with laugher and cheer
Heart felt stories as dark as day,
Mind-boggling puzzles as bright as may.
Poisonous food as tasty as pie,
Delectable chocolates that go straight to your thy.
Dreary sunshine as black as night,
Storm clouds that shine so very bright
Seasons go and the dead stop by,
The living doesn't prosper and the bids don't fly.
The day turns to night and the night to day,
The heart becomes cold and filled with dismay.
Smiles begin to frown upon the good,
Murder doesn't go to those it should.
The mind is twisted and tormented politely,
The body s disheveled and thought about lightly.
The entire world in vengeance and guise,
Is soon taken over by those that despise.
