Growth of Love

by Heather M Craig   Mar 22, 2005

The youth that walk the world,
false predictions of adoration.
Love given free into open arms,
never once explored it's creation.

Even the naivety of most hearts
can feel the gentle glide
but to understand the truth
of letting love build inside...

To speak the words of heart
must include the rooting to grow,
shower your small plant
and you will have the blossoming of a rose.

Heather M Craig

--I wrote this kinda quick in class today, the basic idea is of a metaphor comparing love to a plant. --Love can be spoken but true love has to grow--
