You're searching in my eyes
for the hidden aspirations
You're missing what lies
with your heavy imagination.

Begging for something that doesn't exist
because you missed the heart in me,
I am thankful that you have tried to assist
but the dreams differ from what you see.

I have the rest of my life to plan
for what I want to become ,
it's all held in God's hands
of my final outcome.

---it's defently not my best, it was inspired by an older friend, he has the high standards in me to become something that I don't think I ever have the power or desire to become much anymore. Don't get me wrong , I appreciate everything, but I have to make my decisions, it is not he.---

    Oh Heather that poem is outstanding! I don't care if it wasn't your best or it was short..Your work always fasinates me!! I understnad completley what your saying about you making your own decisions..maybe your friend was just trying to motivate you..WHy motivate on something you don't want to do though..Oh well either way you cam out with a well written poem!
