To be loved and wanted
is the barrier of dreams.
Repetitive rejection
ripped the heart's seams.

Your heart given freely
but the offer was stood up.
With your head in the clouds,
your soul yearns for love.

Patience is your virtue
of the love yet to retain.
I know she's in waiting
