Unnoticed

by Heather M Craig   Apr 6, 2005

Child of innoncence
but a soul to retain
looking for guidance
but none to gain.

Mommy, daddy,
slaves to society just to make do,
but they forgot, so
she went unoticed yet exclusively grew.

And the gift of God
in loving grace was a mystery,
adoration was not explored
but remained an item of falsity.

And all the well,
invisible to society eyes,
concealed rage
she released in shadow cries.

Never loved, but gave
her heart out to the world,
the only nothing she saw
was the mirror's reflected girl.

The hopeless spirit
beaten into the forsaken,
echos still whisper to her
because the soul has been taken.

Not even an ounce of pity drips
but tears continue the pour.
The beautiful heart put to waste
when deflated by the decor.

Upon the rise of night,
I blame all thou,
yet I wonder when I fill that casket,
will they notice me now?
