Raising Levels

by Heather M Craig   Apr 7, 2005

*wrote this in Physics class today, based on how people can view you wrong if you lack to know certain elements of life or to question...*

Maybe I never discovered heaven,
nor could I tell you if God was there.
Perhaps I never was hit with love
and my feelings I fail to bare.

It's likely I dropped to the least of levels
and masked myself with skins of simplicity
and in that time of building troubles,
I became the victim of world idiocy.

I've lacked to visit Jesus on occasion
and I've sent out hatred upon His name,
I've abused the needy for pleasure
and I've played this life like a game.

Maybe I've wasted away years
and drowned in the all time lows
but to rise above the despondency
is the peaks of my growth.
