The Inner Self I Always Concealed

by The Fly   Apr 26, 2005

I might not be ordinary,
Might not be plain,
Maybe I'm not original,
But could be insane.
But theres two of me,
My personalities are split,
One second I act like one person,
And the next i quit.

I seem to change to someone else,
As if there are two persons within me,
But this is the thing you have to realize,
Is that who i really am, you haven't seen.
I act a certain way when I'm with friends,
But then a bit different when they're not around,
I seem fine, i seem quite okay,
But the real me is really profound.

Now it's time to finally show,
Who i really am, now that I've grown.
The inner self i always concealed,
Has finally been discovered, at last revealed.

It's like i pretend to be someone else,
Cover up my real feelings inside,
But now that I've shown the world who i am,
Theres nothing for me to hide.
It was the old me, the immature self,
In which kept the real me covered,
But now I've dropped that shadow,
And the new me has been discovered.

Now I've finally come to show,
Who i really am, how I've grown,
The inner self i had always concealed,
Has finally been unleashed, at last revealed.
