I Turn To You

by Heather M Craig   Apr 29, 2005

I turn to the bosom of Jesus
and state my maturing love.
I bow my head and close my eyes
and in secret, I develop my outcries.

I pray for the humanity of the mankind
and whisper reticent thoughts of my mind.
Jesus hears my every word
and calls out my continuing hurt.

He embraces my lonely soul
and takes total control.
With His hands of alluring power
He dries my eyes that I cower.

He pulls me in close to His heart.
For once, I don't force us apart.
I know with Jesus here, I can't go wrong
and in His arms is where I belong.

Heather M Craig.
