Bait and Dove (more of a song really).

Blurred eyes and hollow soul,
Stumbling to and from the sink,
X marks the spot on the bottle,
Without him, she-must-drink.

Slips down her throat, the dark liqueur,
Limbs filling up with acid, their turn to feel empty,
Goodbye from me, Lie with me, die with me!
Heeheehee… down she sinks…

She could fight it no longer in this living land,
No more is she stronger she cannot escape,
Pains overriding her system of fighting,
She can’t reach out for his living hand.

Voice in her head wishing her dead…it’s him or her dead, Still in her head, in her head as the poison takes hold,
Veins filling and swelling, no telling no telling,
Shh…sleep now child, take the slumber for him.

Willing way, to escape from the torment,
Fire and passion, brimstone…whispered repent,
Tempting temptress of death not slumber,
Puling her asunder…She won’t send him under!

He smiles as he rests not knowing she dies,
Not hearing not heeding her internal bleeding,
In living she was dying all the same- now she draws her last breath in life’s heartless game,
Hating what she must do to be at peace, make the pain cease make it cease, make it cease!

Already missing him as the walls start to run,
What has she done? She’d forgotten the gun,
It had to be done, be done, and be done, be done and be done and be…done! Blackness was taking too long to come- Just fire the damn gun! So she fired the gun. And sleep…
Gone - all gone – gone from her chest; the unstoppable quest: her hate and her love her wait and her dove…but they’ll follow her above.
