Before It Strikes Twelve

by Sarah Ann   Jun 7, 2005

Meet me at my window
When the moon rises high
Take your empty promises
So I may savor every lie
For time goes so quickly
And we have nothing left
Forget all the love we had
I have one last request

Carry me very far away
Near all the pretty stars
Let me above the world
To picture where you are
So that I can go to sleep
And then count to three
Never to wake here again
I will lie amongst debris

Walk amongst the stars
And drift among the sea
Let memories flood you
Until heart ceases to beat
Wrap your arms around
For it is poison in itself
Hear my deadly lullaby
Before time strikes twelve
