Sleepless nights all alone
No one here to say goodnight
Lonely days, just ignored
Stranded, no future in sight

Covered by the blanket of stars
Keeping me warm while I sleep
The moon, my feathered pillow
Holding the tears I weep

No one to love, no one to hold
Thoughts filled with sorrow
Nothing left to hope for
Not wanting to see tomorrow

Tired of these broken dreams
And the emptiness life brings
Just the girl on the bench…
An angel with shattered wings
