The Concealed Rainbow

by Heather M Craig   Jun 8, 2005

You paint yourself in black and white
to conceal the rainbow within your heart
for vibrant exposure alarms your arrogance
where your facade of darkness unites.

With the mask your mind creates,
you think I see only the sinister attire
but I have torn away the visionairy
where the vital colors collate.

For the rainbow inside of magical hues
expose the fiery passions deep within,
the masterpiece canvas of your life
accentuates the person in you.
