Goodbye Sunlight.

Sick of all this writhing agony,
Im tired of all this sharpened pain,
And NOW you’re trying to cut the ties,
Don’t think I’ll ever breathe again.

You chose not to look,
You sat up bold and straight,
It’s too late to kill my feelings,
So you have sealed my fate.

I can’t forget that I love you,
You turn me into what I can’t stand,
A make-up and skirt wearing girly girl,
A groupie to your unheard-of band.

Wish you could see my pain,
But I will spare you the nightmare,
I may have to die to keep you happy,
Because, sometimes life's just not fair.

As a chid I once battled death,
But I won my life in the fight,
I fought ONLY to be alive in the sunshine,
So tell me-how can I live without your light?

Soon I fear I may finally quit,
Lay down upon the kitchen floor,
Slit my wrists and with my last strength,
See my blood rush towards the door.

Sleep well my precious light,
Wake glowing and perfect as ever,
You don't need to know I have realised,
That we may never be together.
