Fear

Ok everyone, I'm still new to all of this poetry stuff... I am really depressed right now, and I'm trying to right down how I feel... Please tell me how I'm doing, I mean it when I say I care about what you have to say... I would greatly appreciate your comments and votes... Thanks so much!

Its a thought we can't control,
No matter how hard we try,
We try to find an answer,
Still we ask ourselves why

Its a pain that no one can see,
A pain that we hide,
A thought that controls us,
Deep from the inside

We lose sleep thinking about it,
We waste away the day,
Our lives revolve around these thoughts,
And always will they stay

How can we let it take over our lives,
And let it take the wheel,
Let it make our choices,
And let it decide what is real

Some people become tense,
Others cry at night,
While some even are terrified,
And cannot put up a fight

What is this evil thing you ask,
That seems to be so unclear,
This force that is so powerful,
I will call it fear

Fear controls us day in and day out,
It sets your boundaries and limitations,
We try to clear it from our minds,
But that just builds up frustration

Next time you feel down and alone,
And it feels like you don't have control of the wheel,
Take the time to realize,
That everything you fear is real.
