Surrender

by Kaitlin Kristina   Jun 19, 2005

“My fragile little baby”
Whispered as an oath of protection.

Your fingertips skim my naked back
Lightly, tracing along my hips,
Sending slight chills up my spine,
My body tenses.

Your lips press against my forehead
As your taming heartbeat serves as lullaby.

My hair, strewn over your lightly dewed and salted chest,
Strongly, you pull me closer
Staring into the darkness of a dirty living room
But feeling content with the purity of my company,
My delicacy and dedication.

I draw my nails across your shoulder
Gripping your skin lightly,
I feel the stroke of your firm hand over my neck
Settling in,
I completely relax myself over your capable body.

I surrender to you.

You breathe deeply,
Bestowing light and tiny kisses along my neck and forehead,
While drawing your fingertips through my hair,
A soft whisper wafts;

“My fragile Kaitlin.”

So very sweet and beautiful . To surrender your body ad soul to love . Excellent poem that should be given the praise it well deserves .

I like the idea of delicate dedication... a lot.

Take out the bull and replace it with a fluffy kitten in the china shop.

There's not much under the surface here (maybe stuff we have already discussed) so I'll just read it once more and absorb the moment.

    Soothing words, K.

I loved the idea of this peom rather than the poem itself, which i hope doesn't cause you offence. I always kinda switch off when someone describes the individual movements of anything sexual...i realize the poem isn't really about that...and that i what i love...the message behind it...that all these movements are suggesting an awareness of how fragile you are.

I hope this laddy treasures you.
