Hope

We try to forget all the bad times
and all the things we've done wrong
we have to remember
that yesterdays gone
tomorrow is in front of us
reminding us to look ahead
to wake up each morning
and to each night go to bed

Each of us,
we say a prayer
hoping someone will hear
to send us an angel
to take away our fear
someone to save us
from the scars that we make
and someone to forgive us
for the promises we break
someone to remind us,
that every things OK
someone to help us
make it through the day

We all need something,
in which we can hope
something we can turn to
when we don't know how to cope
Something that will be there
in our times of need
Something that will heal our cuts,
even before they bleed.
