Before You End Your Life

You run into your bedroom
And shut the door as you weep
You wonder about your life
And if it you should keep

But as you look at the pictures
That are taped to your wall
You think of all the good times
And how you'd miss them all

There's your best friend and you
Laughing so hard together
And there's another one
Those times were among the better

You looked so happy there
With that big fake smile
Wondering if they ever noticed
If living is even worth while

Your mom calls from the kitchen
Says that Caitlins here to see you
You dry your tears the best you can
And put on that big smile like you always do

She sits by you on your bed
And gives you the biggest hug
You ask what that was for
And she says "Just because."

That is when you breakdown
And she holds you alittle longer
Friends ask what's wrong with you
Best friends don't have to bother

So before you end your life
Think about all the people that care
About all your loving friends
And how they'll always be there.

    PERFECT! I love it! I love the message and inspiration given off. I don't think it should be in the sad category though...it's more of an inspirational piece....

    Anyhoo...excellent write....I was supposed to be helping but there is nothing to be changed or fixed....so nicely done....wonderful flow and an excellent message...well done...

    i love your poem it is really good!! but all the good times i try to think of just drift away because most of my mates have started to leave me and hate me, but i still have some mates and the mates i have got are very special to me, your poem is very inspirational!!

    WOW.. speechless over here... ummmm that was truely great and wonderful and idk it was just WOW... My best friend and I are like that so much!! i mean i have been the friend that needs the hug many times.. and she has also been that friend!! i mean we are always there for eachother.. and your poem it just really ..... idk how to say it!! but its like us so much and for you to describe it is just amazing.. once again WOW!! bye bye EJ
