I'm just a man.

Can you come and love me?
All I need is your love and care to keep me falling down again and again.
I seem so alone and helpless like a little boy, but I'm just a man.

Can you see what I'm saying?
In my heart it always rains.
Will you come and love me and let me love and live again?
Take this little boy from the pouring rain and shelter him in your arms.

As my soul searches for a way to leave this pain, just come show me what life can be again.
Please walk with me together, send your love and rescue me from the pouring rain.

Your love is an endless comfort from all the cold inside.
Can you see that I love you and that I'm doing all I can?
For I am just a man.

And as I grow older with all the passing years, my love will be unchanging like a glade of evergreens.
I will pledge for you my love for all of eternity.
Please come, come and love me.
I'm just a man.

I will do all that I can to make you happy, if I were your man.
