I thought the riff on silence was well-written; it reminded me of "sound of silence" by Simon and garfunkel. There were some parts of the poem where i thought the sentences were twisted around in order to fit the rhyme scheme, which i didn't enjoy terribly, but you said what you had to say, and you did a good job saying it.

That poem shows everything you would have wanted it to. It was tragic but beautiful. It tells a true story that causes it's readers to feel how you felt when you were writing it. Well done.

wow, that was a deep poem. Why didn't I read this one before? Extremely depressing, but I can actually picture what you're saying in my head as I read.. It flows well and you can almost feel the emotion.. a 5 for you.
