Hollywood ending

I saw it again, this Hollywood ending,
Actually I find it rather offending,
There’s just no truth in the message they’re sending.

This Hollywood ending, where it all ends well,
It hasn’t happened so far but I guess only time can tell,
Maybe it's true but I'm going through hell.

This Hollywood ending, I begin to think about,
Maybe they should make a sequel where they only shout.

This Hollywood ending has blown me away,
I think about it every hour of the day,
For that kind of happiness, is there a price to pay?

This Hollywood ending I’ll think about tonight,
Laying in bed long after I turn off the light,
Sometimes I wish the movies would end in a fight.

This Hollywood ending, why do I care?
Is it because I live my life in despair?
Or is it perhaps because I want you right here?

    That was brilliant. So true. I was thinking about this subject the other day, actually. I wish we could all have Hollywood endings, but I think everyone has some sort of problem or another in their lives. Just keep your head up and hope for the best. Take care.

    We all wish for that Hollywood ending but it hasn't happened for me yet. Very creative and unique idea for a poem. One thing I noticed on the second to last line "life" should be live but no big deal! Take Care! Brooke~
