Night Has A Blessing

by Ren   Aug 25, 2005

The sun slowly fades away,
Behind the mountains,
Reflecting off the bay.

The sky's stained blue,
Fades into a wondrous black,
It's almost night.

Little tears start to show,
Inside the darkness,
The stars begin to glow.

The moon blesses us,
With its peaceful shine,
That douses the earth,
In a nice tint of blue.

Grasshoppers music,
Begins to wake,
In the tallest of grasses,
Their wings wait.

My curtains blow,
In every which way,
When the breeze starts to blow,
Its soft moans.

Tears glisten in my eyes,
As I stare at this wondrous sight....
Such beauty has been shown...
No one could have ever known...
That there is such a thing.

The trees begin to rock,
Sounding of the ocean waves,
So soothing to my soul,
Taking away all the pain.

My heart has now awaken,
The beauty outside impressing,
Night sure can bring a broken soul,
Such a wonderful blessing.
