Memories

by Miss Ashley   Sep 1, 2005

The Faces of loved ones exists,
Only in memories, now.
You can find them so carefully etched,
They lack nothing.

For over the years, Series of lies, harsh words and annoying jesters, fade.
Leaving nondescript bits and pieces.

And what a relief to know,
That hate crumbles int he presents of Death,
And in it's place blinded love takes shape,
Without the slightest hesitation.

Indeed love takes shape,
And dismisses any blemishes
The deceased had carried through out life.

Making the uneasiness slip away,
As quickly as the tears do.
For when you die,
In memories you will be renewed.
