Such an Ordinary Day

by Ren   Sep 7, 2005

I wake up to the coldness of my room.
The darkness that haunts it,
The mystery,
That lives around it.
I try,
To force a smile to come,
But nothing ever appears.
I am so lost,
And so down,
That I have no reflection,
In the mirror.
My head is swimming,
With questions,
As I walk among the halls,
Alone...
Just sliding up against the walls.
I stalk around in Grey...
Such an ordinary day.
I have no clue why,
I just can't smile to get by,
But it's just so hard for me,
When all I want to do is cry.
Gossiping starts to spill,
As I am eating my meal,
I just want them to stay away...
Such an ordinary day.
My heart starts to shatter,
I want to go on home,
I hate this locked up prison,
And it's melancholy tone.
Finally my ride has arrived,
And I think while I lay,
Hmm...
I guess that wasn't so bad...
Such an ordinary day.
