How not to hurt others

by RainbowSlider   Oct 2, 2005

First, surrender.
That way you don't fight.
Next, admit powerlessness.
I can't take you
and you can't take me.
Smarter is the just
the opinion of one.
I can't take
what is not mine.
Next, be self.
It is easier
to be self
than someone else.
We have much more experience
being just who we are.
It comes natural
and is not forced.
Liars are not liked
and phonies are not real.
Next, make no promises.
Tomorrow is not promised
to anyone.
Yesterday has come and gone.
Today is all that we have.
If you have one foot
in tomorrow
and one foot in yesterday,
then you are pissing
on today.
Next, be aware.
Tune into self
and those that are
around you.
Observe what is taking place.
Notice what another is saying.
Next, share.
Be part of
and give input.
You have an unique
point of view.
We can learn from
each other.
Neither of us are
better than the other.
Give good feeling.
Lets communicate.
Life isn't always
a spectator sport.
Next, give feedback.
This is what I am saying.
This is what you are saying.
Are we talking the same language?
When I say this
I mean that.
Let me hear me
in your language.
