True Speed

My pounding hooves are echoed in your heart
And hair and mane both flying in the beat
With speed so fast, the wind is stinging skin
And all is fearsome colors blur to heat

So fast you lose the sense of you and me
And all is one and I am all of you
So spun out from itself, the world is gone
Distorted, warped and spiraling right through

A speed so fast you cannot even breathe
So fast all being blurs into one vow
Of speed, and spin and fall away again
You lose the colors, lose all senses now

So now you lose all thought, and lose your mind
All else eludes, while losing all your fear
For if you ever went faster than this
You'd go insane, or die, or disappear

For all is you and me and life and death
And ride through woods and fields, and into night
The only true speed is the speed of horse
to leave a scar on soul burn on by light

(i said i'd write you a horsey poem)

GOD. that was actually the best poem EVER!!! thankyou thankyou thankyou! you said you would write me a horsey poem and you did, and it's so good, and its so brill and i'm so speechless, and its so good! wowowowowowowowowowowowowow! *stares* wow. that was fantastically fantastic, and brilliantly brill. and my vocabulary has done a triple spin pike somersault out of the window! it was amazingly breathtaking and fantabulous. i love it soooooooooooooo much. *grins stupidly* now im all inspired. i had better go to my english lesson. wowzer luciferous. me love. you fab. *hugs*
