Comfortable Silence

by HOLLYWOODxBANGBANG   Oct 22, 2005

A painted smile on her lips
black nails on her fingertips
the crimson tears trapped inside
from reality she does hide
her life is a nightmare waiting to be unveiled
make-up masking a face so pale
blood red lips quivering in the dark moonlight
nothing is what it seems, nothing is alright
she screams inside but nobody hears
she is her own worst enemy, everything that she fears
a broken heart shattered in the pit of her stomache
something that your duct taped sorries and fake aologies will not fix
blood drips down along with tears
bottled up emotions from 15 years
the smell of vodka always on top of her breath
closes her eyes, breathes in deeply and wishes for death
fate is a b itch and it never comes true
especially when it comes to a person like you
you used her as a pety little pawn in your pathetic game called love
got what you wanted out of her and then pushed her away with nothing but a shove
but you see, you just do not understand what causes her sorrow
what you do today could kill someone tomorrow
she took a pill for every minute she thought of you
the feeling of being alone just will not soak through
tell me, does it make you feel like a man?
To watch me fall down like i did?
you did this to me!
and for that i will never forgive you!
the comfortable silence in my heart
will help my death as a start
the thunder will roll and the lightning will crash
before my eyes, my life will flash.
