Twisted Roses

by LettersFromEnnis   Nov 4, 2005

As you look at my picture
The one in your mind
But all you see are twisted roses
Nothing different nothing the same

You think Im a mindless stranger
No better than myself
You think Im twisted roses
As you went away and left

You think Im a false doll
As controllable as can be
You think Im twisted roses
I just want to be free

You think Im blank hearted
With no mind of my own
You think Im twisted roses
I dont know where the wind blows

But youre starting to change
Into a helpless shadow
Now youre twisted roses
Youre something I no longer know

So now you want me back
But now its too late
You should have thought of that before
This life is just full of hate

So youre far behind me now
And youre these twisted roses
So this life story now ends
And the book finally closes
