You'll never Know

Behind these eyes,
Lies sadness and despair,
Something to hide,
But is always there,

The tears fall only at night,
When no ones around,
Through the day I smile,
As if nothing brings me down,

In the shadows,
Is where I lurk,
No one seems to notice,
Even when I'm hurt,

When will there,
Be a day,
I don't have to fake a laugh,
Or look the other way,

I don't want help,
Or sympathy,
All I need is,
You to love me.
