Withdrawl

by Avellana   Dec 4, 2005

Memories come rushing past
They're bittersweet and tainted
A laugh escapes, a breaking sob
This day it seems, was fated

I'm drowning in emotions
I'm lost here in denial
I'm starving for and answer
I know I'll never find

Water tracks through make up
Salt lined to purify
Where they've been I burn and blister
The pain is a respite

I'm pushing the walls of the weakest
God help me... I feel the cracks
It's bending under the pressure
How long can it stave off this attack?

I thought I missed you. But you were right, we're not the same people anymore. What I'm missing is what we had.
Knowing I wont wake up and have a text waiting. Finding an awesome quote. But mostly I'll miss... just being around you.
So much that sometimes it really does hurt to breathe.
