Withered Into Madness

by HOLLY ARMER   Jan 7, 2006

Darkness lies dormant
nestled deep within
Carving it's maddening tempo
upon my damaged soul

Lost in the racket
of hateful surroundings
Falling deeper into
shadowed undertones

Malnourished by
unabashed melancholy
Feeding on betrayal
and infinite lies

Until I've finally
withered into madness
and my fragmented essence
is devoured by insanity
