Oh Lord

by Mona   Jan 15, 2006

Oh Lord:
I'm just wondering, couldn't you afford
To give my some more
Then just some dreams to cry for?

Oh Lord:
Just wondering, where is my reward?
For all the hard working
While danger is always lurking

Oh Lord:
Can you help me? I fell aboard
I sunk before going ashore
And now I can't breathe no more

Oh Lord:
Can you now hear the one you always ignored?
Oh yes here I am
And oh no I'm not like them

Oh Lord: take a seat
Watch me standing in the middle of the street
On that white line, I am drinking altar wine,
Screaming; "Your Messiah ain't mine!"

Oh Lord:
I'm sorry; I have lived by my sword
And I would have died by yours
If you wouldn't have shut all my doors
