Limbo

by Avellana   Jan 18, 2006

You shouldn't be able to feel like this.
And still be alive.
This constant ache inside of you.
That wills your soul to die

That drags you down into.
The deepest pits of despair.
That holds you close and tortures you,
Over and over again

The void that's left inside of you.
Threatens to never heal.
The pain that exists instead of love.
Threatens to never leave

Silently coursing.
Through blood so used it's black.
Streaming red in rivulets.
Down a bruised and bloodied back

Pain surrounds you daily.
And it's only getting worse.
How long can you hold out like this?
When you view life as a curse...

Seems like you started having a rhyme pattern and stopped following it near the middle. Despite that it was well done.

Great lines. And also great job.
