Dear Mom

by Tim Bradshaw   Jan 19, 2006

I am writing you this hatred note,
Because this has gone on too long,
These drugs have taken control of you,
And I'm here to show what's wrong.

You have my two sisters with you,
That you're supposed to take care of,
You're supposed to show them about life,
You're supposed to show them love.

I can't understand your ways,
Nor can I tell you what to do.
But these stupid things have got to stop,
You have to show them something new.

No need to curse at me dear mother,
I am only trying to help you out.
No need to throw things at me now,
No need to yell and shout.

I don't care what you decide,
You can get doped up all day,
But you're crazy indeed if you think this will slide,
The girls don't want to stay.

So live your life and so will we,
Don't worry about us anymore.
You lost gods' greatest gifts,
And that's what you'll pay for.

I hope one day you can see,
Truly what you have lost.
The family that you used to have,
Is what those drugs did cost.
